Volunteer Befrienders visit people with or recovering from mental health issues on a weekly or fortnightly basis, who would otherwise be isolated. Befrienders offer time to listen, support and encourage individuals. Volunterers receive an induction; mental health awareness training and further development oppportuities.
Social Groups are provided on a weekly basis. The groups in Penwith and Kerrier encourage social interaction and help to broaden social cirlces.
Monthly Walk Groups in Kerrier and Penwith encourage physical activity whilst socialising and enjoying the countryside.
An in-house Counselling Service is available in Camborne for members. It provides Person Centred and Psychodynamic Counselling in a confidential setting.
A monthly Art and Craft Group in Camborne provides opportunity to express or combat issues.
